Anyone else bored with hearing “Higher Education is Broken”?
We do a lot of reading here at EduCred Services, and I have a confession: when I see an article title that starts, “Higher Education is Broken,” “How to Fix Higher Ed by…,” or similar, I want to skip it.
The Cinderella Stories
We all love to see those seemingly magical Cinderella moments where everything comes together for an underdog team, but even though it seems like magic, such moments are always the result of a season of work, sacrifice, encouragement, and dedication.
Who Run the World?! Um, well, mostly men.
Before we say, “well-behaved women seldom make history,” on social media as a cheeky nod to the few women rule-breakers that history deigns to recognize, perhaps we should ask ourselves: why does history require “misbehavior” before it will recognize women’s achievements?
Goodbye, Resolutions; Hello, Houseplants!
We have all experienced unimaginable challenges these past two years and no one yet knows how the stress from these past couple of years will affect our lives, but we do know that it will show its effects. In times of uncertainty, we must remember that the human spirit is strong. We are resilient. In the middle of constant stress, like the snake plant, we can find a way to flower.
