Better Together

Rarely are great things accomplished alone. We can find successful teams all throughout history: the Wright brothers, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, Rodgers and Hammerstein, The Beatles, and the 1985 Chicago Bears (because some dreams never die). These individuals came together sharing a single vision and brought their collective talents to make a difference in the world. They were better together than they were alone. It was not always easy or without setbacks, but their passion persevered and together they accomplished the impossible.

EduCred Services is excited to introduce three individuals who desire to empower organizations to provide quality, life-changing student-focused education. As you may have seen on the new homepage, EduCred Services successfully partners with institutions, accrediting agencies, and state licensing boards, helping organizations reach their goals while remaining focused on what matters most—students. Please join me in welcoming Andy Thompson, Keith O’Regan, and Emily Haworth to EduCred Services. We believe that together is better.

Andy Thompson: Andy works with EduCred Services to provide solutions to institutions and accrediting organizations, ensuring that student-focused educational options thrive. He has twelve years of higher education administration and management experience with an emphasis in policy development, financial aid and registrar services, and regulatory compliance. Andy loves music and has a soft spot for well-crafted pop songs and complicated basslines. He is an adept mixologist and loves making new, delicious drinks for his wife and his friends, ideally while also smoking a brisket. With his long-standing status (pun definitely intended) as the tallest kid in his class, he has always enjoyed playing basketball. He’s newer to golf, but loves the excuse to be outside during Iowa’s 10-12 days of acceptable weather. He earned a Master of Divinity from Shiloh University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.

Keith O’Regan: Keith works with EduCred Services as a Project Manager. He brings twenty-five years of experience through project-driven activity across various leadership and management roles. Keith is frequently referred to as “the most interesting man alive” by his coworkers. He lives in a 400-year-old home on the side of a scenic mountain in Northern Italy. On the weekends, he and his wife help others in the area build and perfect their own mountain gardens. Keith also enjoys beautiful watches, cheering on underdog rugby teams, moody orchestral/ambient music, and sharing pictures of breathtaking views from his latest hike. Keith earned a Bachelor of Engineering Ordinary Degree in Plastics Engineering from Athlone Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Supervisory Management from the Irish Management Institution.

Emily Haworth: Emily works with EduCred Services as a writer, editor, and administrative coordinator. Affectionately known to some as the “Grammar Hammer,” she has eight years of content creation and editing experience and is passionate about clear and purposeful communication. Emily leans into the aphorism “write without fear; edit without mercy.” She enjoys hiking, cooking, re-watching the same ten TV shows over and over again, making and cleaning up huge messes with her husband and kids, and saying “it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity that gets you.” Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts in English (with a minor in Spanish) from the University of Iowa.
